Day 1

Hong Kong / Colombo

Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel (Pannala).


Day 2


After breakfast, relax by the poolside. In the evening, we will visit the local village by bicycle or a classic car.

Optional: guided visit to Dambadeniya ancient kingdom, the third ancient capital in Sri Lanka.


Day 3

Colombo / Anamaduwa

Check out from hotel and transfer to Anamaduwa by road – approx. 2.5 hours.

Day 4


Activities at the Mudhouse.

Early morning bird watching walks, a fascinating tour through the grounds and workshop of the farm and the complex. A cookery lesson, Kayaking at nearby tanks and swim at quarry pool are included your stay.


Day 5

Anamaduwa / Habarana

Check out from Mudhouse and transfer to Habarana by road - approx. 3 hours

The Other Corner". Situated within the cultural triangle, an area rife with paddy fields and natural beauty, of thatched roofs and friendly natives, where wildlife abounds and the appeal of the wild will leave you breathless.

The road leading there, for the most part, is straight and well-paved providing a peaceful and enjoyable journey. The panoramic view as the bustle of the big city is left behind and a world of natural beauty and untainted forests, with marshland dotting the area is breathtaking. The concrete buildings giving way to small huts with thatched roofs and close, friendly communities, is a welcome change for anyone trying to escape the stress of urban life.

Day 6


Breakfast served on top of the Pidurangala rock.

Elephant bathing - give a good scrub for an elephant as he/she laze in the water, you can join the mahout.

Afternoon: Cultural Triangle | A guided visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO)
Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, built on top of a huge boulder in the 5th century. A palace. A rock fortress. The hidden castle of King Kasyapa. A Buddhist monastery from the 14th century. The eighth wonder of the world? Sigiriya consists of 1200 steps.


Day 7

Habarana / Kithulgala

Check out from hotel and transfer to Kithulgala.by road – approx. 5 hours

Kitulgala is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka. It is in the wet zone rain forest, which gets two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in the country. Nevertheless, it comes alive in the first three months of the year, especially in February, the driest month. Kitulgala is also a base for white-water rafting, which starts a few kilometres upstream and also popular as a location for adventure-based training programmes.


Day 8

Kithulgala - Udawalawe National Park

After lunch check out from Borderlands and transfer to Udawalawe by road, approx. 4.5 hours

Check-in at Hammock Lanka. do a nature walk in the spillway with a naturalist in the afternoon (if time permits)

We have our private campsite just four kilometres from the main entrance of the Yala National Park and just 2km from the Udawalawe National park.


Day 9

Udawalawe National Park

Morning and evening game drives in Udawalawe National Park.

Udawalawe National Park. Keeping company to the herds of elephants, the main attraction of the park is the Water Buffalo, Wildboar, Spotted Deer, Sambur Deer, Jackal, Samber, Black-naped hare, mongooses, bandicoots, foxes, the endemic Toque Macaque and Gray Langers.


Day 10

Udawalawe National Park - Galle - Mirissa

Transfer to Mirissa by road.

En route stop at Udawalawe Elephant transit home and see bottle feeding for baby elephants, approx. 3 hours.

Afternoon: Guided walk to UNESCO Galle fort with the resident host.

The Dutch Fort - Galle - The South Coast’s major city is Galle, whose oldest landmark is the massive Portuguese and Dutch Fort which is a “World Heritage Site” in which the central city is contained. But the city may be much older. Some scholars believe it to be the “Tarshish” of the Old Testament, to which King Solomon sent his merchant's vessels, and to which Jonah fled from the Lord.

Today, the 90-acre Galle Fort shows no evidence of the Portuguese founders. The Dutch incorporated the Portuguese northern wall in a great rampart in 1663. A second, taller wall was built inside of it. Between the two walls, a covered passage connected the central bastion with the Fort’s two half bastions overlooking the sea.


Day 11

Mirissa - Kanneliya Rainforest - Mirissa

Morning : Kanneliya rainforest trek and local lunch on the river

Start with a trek through the rainforest with your tracker, whose home is on the edges of the forest reserve itself. Expect to see plenty of birdlife, perhaps a few monkeys, some unique bugs and creepy crawlies, and maybe even some snakes. The rainforest provides a lush habitat for a wide range of flora and fauna. If you’re feeling adventurous you can even crawl through a cave underneath the rainforest floor!

Finish the walk with a hearty authentic Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry, cooked by your tracker’s wife in their nearby home and served onto a table inside one of the large lakes running through the forest. The scenery in the area is straight out of the Jungle Book. If the event of rain the lunch will be served at a nearby home overlooking the lake, with a rope swing in the garden leading on to the lake that will provide endless fun for children.

Evening visit snake farm. Snake Farm It is the best place to observe the endemic venomous and non-venomous snakes. The place located near Mirissa and within a short time can reach to this great location where kept many snakes kept in a safe way.


Day 12

Mirissa - Colombo / Hong Kong

Check out from Mirissa and transfer to the airport by road, approx. 3 hours.

Last-minute shopping in Colombo if time permits. We recommend Barefoot, Gallery Cafe, Odel, Paradise Road.
